Collective Nouns - Flying an Airplane - Noun Game
In this Turtle Diary game kids enjoy an airplane flight identifying collective nouns. Collective nouns are nouns that refer to a group of persons, places or things. Examples of collective nouns include: class, herd, jury, team, army, council, family, group, and audience. In this interactive game students take a plane ride through the sky and a variety of nouns and collective nouns. The students destroy the blimps with regular nuns and collect the blimps with collective nouns scoring points during the flight. The game continues for as long as the student wishes to play and replays if errors outnumber the correct answers.
